I have been coaching someone something somewhere in the world for the last 49 years. I began my coaching career as a figure skating coach. I had spent my entire youth as a competitive skater. My body wasn’t able to endure the long, 8-hour training days. I ended up another disabled athlete. Unable to continue competing at the Senior level, I turned professional and began to coach. After a few years of coaching, my body gave out on me completely. Thus, the rest of my life began.
I have taught and coached people how to skate, dance, cook, read, and write. Most importantly, I have taught, coached, and consulted people from 95 countries to Speak! To self-express. To manage their accent. To defend their PhD dissertations. To lead at the highest levels of business. To speak in front of huge crowds. In those 49 years of coaching, I would imagine I have tens of thousands of hours experience.
I have been a Radio Journalist, interviewing some remarkable people like HH the 14th Dalai Lama. I am a published writer. I became a Professional Speaker in the late 1990s and have spoken in more than 30 countries.
